Today, which is 7 days after retrieval, we had a total of 11 frozen embryos. That’s almost double what they told us to expect. Two were rated excellent, four were excellent/good and the rest were good, good/fair, and fair (2, 1, and 2 respectively, I think she said). They froze on days 5, 6, and 7.
No matter what happens, this cycle definitely counts as a success! I’ll still be extremely sad if the test is negative on the 3rd, but knowing that we have really good frozen embryos to work with is a tremendous relief.
Now I’m going to go roast a variety of things for making chiles rellenos for dinner. Anyone want to come help me peel about a pound and a half of roasted jalapenos? Please?
Yippee! Great news!!
I was actually going to make a version of chile rellenos myself — but we’re too full from lunch (gah, went to new place, bad) so we’re going to pass until tomorrow. I’m basically going to stuff roasted poblanos with left over steak, but there will be some sort of sauce involved. Let me know how yours go.
So glad to hear it!
I have leftover chicken and lemon risotto to stuff mine with. Roasting some tomatillos for the sauce.
Should be pretty tasty! Or, at least, they won’t suck.
Wow…can I be just a bit jealous? Wow…and congratulations!
