Just popping in to let the world know…
Olivia Moonpie learned to roll over from her back to her tummy. She gets a little stuck on the arm she has to roll over, and hates being on her tummy so she squawks once she gets there, but she keeps doing it! We’re screwed.
My parents have finally managed to come visit together for the first time since our Moonpie arrived and it’s going to be a weekend of baby spoilage I’m sure.
We’re preparing ourselves for January, trying to determine how to celebrate the brief joys and honor the short lives. Olivia Moonpie has been a soft, cuddly pink Band-Aid on our hearts, but this week marks the beginning of the anniversary of that rough time. Every year since has been different and this one, the most different of all. It may take a few tries to find the right fit, but eventually I have no doubt we will figure out the best way for us to remember Brave Lennox and Sweet Zoë with Miss Olivia Moonpie.
I know I’ve been a poor participant in the blogosphere lately. It’s been a year of barely reading or commenting on anyone else’s blog and some very sparse posting on my own. I think after so long, it was just time to retreat for awhile. I’m hoping 2011 brings some changes to that.
I want to wish all of you the happiest of holiday seasons!
