Things are much better over the past 24 hours. The fullness has let off some, enough that I can wear regular pants if I don’t mind a very snug waistband. The tenderness is much improved, almost gone and I can breathe more or less normally. So, no worries about the transfer tomorrow morning. I haven’t forgotten that the symptoms can come back with a vengeance after transfer, so I’m sticking with the high sodium/high protein/high fluid diet for a little longer just to be on the safe side. When this is over, I’m going to eat nothing but fruit and green salads for a month.
Transfer is at 8:30 in the morning. We didn’t really plan this out all too well, what with the holiday weekend. Normally they do transfers at 11 or so, but I think they all want to make sure they get to enjoy some part of their day. We’re still transferring just one. I haven’t bothered to call for an update on the embryos. I’ll get a full report tomorrow and it can be hard to get hold of the lab, so it was just easier to wait.
So, until tomorrow!
