Ok, you can all let out your collective breath. I’ll even let you give a small cheer. I’ll stick with cautious optimism but I’m not bothered if others want to dance about a bit.
There was a gestational sac in the correct location with a fetus inside. Dr. N was almost positive she could see a heart beat, but everything was very tiny and it was hard to get a good picture. The sac was measuring 5 weeks 0 days (I’m 6w2d today), but the fetal pole and yoke sac measured 6w1d so I’ve been sent home with instructions to drink lots of water, call immediately if there is any bleeding, stick with the shots and pills and come back Monday morning for another look. Dr. N feels certain that we’ll see and hear a heartbeat by then.
So…no ectopic and with the exception of a small gestational sac everything seems to be as it should be. Monday will tell us more. I think, for us, it will be an ongoing game of waiting a little longer for better information until things move beyond a near-microscopic level.
(Wow, I just realized this is my 700th post!)

Here from LFCA. Doing a little cheer for you!! And will be hoping like crazy for more good news on Monday.
Wow, what great news. I hope you see a good strong heartbeat on Monday!

Great news! I’ve been rooting for you for a long long time! Prayers up and fingers crossed!
I’m glad that the situation at least allows you some cautious optimism. I hope that you get even better news on Monday and I’ll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Going with the cautious happy dance — but its still a happy dance!
Screw caution. I’m doing a full out happy dance. Little girl is just a slow starter, thus the small size and the low betas. You just made my day.
Grow grow grow! Wishing you all the best, and more reasons to throw out the “Cautious” out of “Optimism!”
Lurker letting you know how happy I am for you.
YAYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

Great news. I hope Monday is even better.
I’m dancing and breathing a relieved sigh. Grow, Baby, grow!!
Okay, breathing a sigh of relief. At least for now. My sac measured very small for gestational age – and she’s 17 months old now. Hoping that next time you see that heart beat.
Sounds good to me! : )
I just let out a huge sigh of relief! Excellent news! Can’t wait for an even better update on Monday.
Enjoy your weekend!

Cautious optimism is a wise tactic for you, but I will throw caution to the wind and say HOORAY!
