Let’s start at midnight, shall we?
12:00am – fetal heartbeat check, which can take as little as three minutes or as long as 30, depending on whether or not Zeuxippe plays nice. Her latest trick has been to find a place where MY pulse is strong and then hide behind it. I also get a dose [...]

another day, another hospital
Posted in hospital stay on December 27, 2007 | 10 Comments »
we were transferred yesterday to a different hospital. This one has the facilities to deal with micro-preemies and long-term bed rest.
The ambulance ride over was fairly uneventful and blessedly quick. Just long enough for me to start thinking about what a bad idea it is for me to ride in the back of a delivery [...]

If you are celebrating today, best wishes to you! If it’s just another Tuesday, well…I hope you are getting to enjoy a day off.

Lest I be allowed to forget just how much fun a stealth puke is, this morning found me suddenly christening the interior of the new car with my breakfast blueberry smoothie while in the parking lot of the post office. At least that gawd-awful, toe-curling gurgling sound that seemed to be my stomach trying to [...]
